Our product line includes, among other items , cloth sanding belts, sanding discs, sanding triangles, fiber discs, sanding screen , and pads for professional surface finishing.

The following guidelines apply to hardwood floors, wood, screed, and concrete:

• K16–K24: Heavy-duty removal—old coatings, adhesive residue, and severely damaged floors.
• K36–K60: Primary and intermediate grinding.
• K80–K100: Fine sanding and intermediate sanding.
• K120–K180: Paint preparation and intermediate sanding.
• K240 and finer: Matting and very fine surface finishing.

Select the abrasive based on the material and the step in the process: For wood, depending on the task, zirconia alumina or corundum are suitable; for concrete and stone, silicon carbide is often recommended. For metal, refer to the instructions on the respective product page.

Yes. Just tell us the material, machine, format, and desired process step. We'll help you narrow down the right grit and the appropriate abrasive.

We only process custom sizes, custom grit sizes, and custom orders as pallet shipments or in large quantities. Since production takes longer, we recommend scheduling a personal consultation beforehand: by phone Mon–Fri 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. or by email at info@riwo-commerce.com.

The dimensions and mounting holes determine technical compatibility.

• Ø 406 mm: for single-disc machines—see double discs and sanding screen Ø 406 mm, as well as pads Ø 406 mm.
• Ø 200 mm: for three-disc machines, compatible with Lägler ,TRIO , and FLIP – see Zirkon hook-and-loop grinding discs, Ø 200 mm.
• Ø 178 mm with 10 holes: for planetary sanders, compatible with Pallmann Spider and Gecko Flex – see Zirkon hook-and-loop- sanding discs, Ø 178 mm, 10-hole.
• Ø 150 or 180 mm: for edger, compatible with Bona Edge and MENZER—see Zirkon hook-and-loop sanding discs, Ø 150/180 mm.
• Ø 125 mm with 8 holes: for random-orbit sanders, compatible with Festool, Bosch, and Makita—see hook-and-loop-sanding discs.
• 200 × 750 mm: for hardwood floor sanders; compatible with Lägler Hummel , Bona Belt, and MENZER BSM 750—see sanding belts.

Before placing an order, always compare the dimensions, hole pattern, and mounting specifications of your machine with those listed on the product page.

The color indicates the typical intended use:

• Black: Waxing and hair removal.
• Red: Deep cleaning.
• Green: Deep cleaning and scrubbing.
• Beige: Daily routine cleaning.
• White: For polishing and as a backing pad under double discs.
• Gray (felt): High gloss on natural stone and marble.
• Lila K320: Intermediate sanding of paint and matting.

The hole pattern must match the suction ports on your sanding pad:

• 8-hole: Random-orbit sander, 125 mm diameter, compatible with Festool and Bosch—see Korund hook-and-loop sanding discs, 125 mm diameter, 8-hole.
• 6-hole: Delta sander – see Zirkon 93 mm 6-hole sanding triangles.
• 10-hole: Planetary sander, compatible with Pallmann Spider and Gecko Flex – see Ø 178 mm 10-hole.
• Multi-hole: Single-disc machines, Ø 406 mm – see Edelkorund hook-and-loop grinding discs, Ø 406 mm.

If the number of holes, diameter, and mounting hole do not match, suction will be impaired.

zirconia alumina It is self-sharpening: During grinding, the grains break off in a controlled manner and form new cutting edges. This ensures a long service life under heavy use, such as when working on oak, beech, and other hard woods. Corundum is the cost-effective all-rounder for standard applications in wood and metal. silicon carbide It is very hard and suitable for concrete, screed, stone, and other hard, brittle surfaces. Fiber discs have a rigid vulcanized fiber backing and are suitable for heavy, controlled material removal on metal—such as for removing rust and grinding weld seams. Fan discs combine multiple abrasive flaps and work well on edges, contours, and for a more even finish. zirconia alumina We primarily use these for wood and hardwood flooring. For steel, stainless steel, and other metals, we recommend our corundum fiber grinding discs for angle grinders; iron-free versions for stainless steel are indicated in the product description.
