Whether hook-and-loop or self-adhesive, zirconium or silicon carbide: We have the right sanding triangle for every application.
Two mounting options for different applications
🔵 Hook-and-loop sanding triangles — quick change
Features a hook-and-loop fastening system for changing grit sizes in seconds without tools. Ideal when you need to use multiple grit sizes in a single operation. Standard on the FEIN MultiMaster, Bosch Multitool, and many other multi-tools.
🟡 Self-adhesive sanding triangles — strong adhesion
Features an aggressive adhesive coating for maximum adhesion, even under heavy use. Ideal for devices without a Velcro fastening system and for applications where the screen must not slip. Once applied, the screen stays firmly in place.
Two premium materials for every surface
🔴 Zirconia — the all-rounder
A proven abrasive for wood, painted surfaces, and soft metals. Versatile for use in renovation and finishing work. Ideal for corners, edges, furniture, and door frames.
⚫ Silicon carbide — for hard and smooth surfaces
A more aggressive abrasive pad for metal, stainless steel, glass, stone, and hardened surfaces. Also excellent for intermediate sanding of painted surfaces and particularly hard materials. Often the top choice for professional applications with FEIN tools.

Frequently Asked Questions About Sanding Triangles
Velcro or self-adhesive — which is better?
Both have their advantages. Hook-and-loop triangles allow for quick grit changes and are ideal for multi-step sanding. Self-adhesive ones hold extremely well and are perfect when the sheet must not slip. For FEIN tools with a hook-and-loop attachment, use hook-and-loop; for other tools, use self-adhesive ones.
What is the difference between zirconium and silicon carbide?
Zircon is the standard choice for wood and painted surfaces. Silicon carbide is significantly more abrasive and ideal for metal, stainless steel, stone, and particularly hard or smooth materials. Zircon is sufficient for woodworking—but for demanding surfaces, silicon carbide is essential.
Do the triangles really fit all multitools?
The standard size of 80 × 80 × 80 mm fits nearly all standard multi-tools and delta sanders. The mounting may differ on very old or unusual models—if in doubt, please contact us.
How long does a sharpening triangle last?
That depends largely on the material and the amount of use. For standard furniture or wood sanding, a sanding triangle typically lasts 5–15 minutes of work. For metal, the duration is correspondingly shorter. Professionals usually use 20–50 sanding triangles per renovation project.
How quickly will my order be delivered?
All standard sanding triangles are in stock at our Taufkirchen facility (near Munich) and are typically shipped within 24 hours.
