Frequently Asked Questions

For which machines are the 406 mm mesh grinding discs suitable?

These discs fit all standard single-disc machines and floor grinders with a 406 mm drive plate, such as Lägler, MENZER, Bona, Wolff, and Columbus. Please check the plate diameter before purchasing.

What is the advantage of a grinding grid over a standard grinding wheel?

The open mesh design prevents the abrasive from clogging—dust and debris fall through the mesh, keeping the sanding surface clean and even. As a result, the service life is significantly longer when working with dusty materials such as concrete, plaster, or joint compound than with solid discs.

What materials are silicon carbide wire-cut discs suitable for?

These discs are particularly suitable for mineral substrates such as screed, concrete, granite, and marble, as well as for plaster, joint compound, and adhesive. They can be used on both sides, making them particularly cost-effective.

Can the discs be used on both sides?

Yes, both sides of the sanding grid are coated with silicon carbide. When one side is worn out, simply flip it over and continue working at full sanding power—this doubles the service life of each disc.

What grit size do you recommend for screed and concrete?

For the initial grinding of screed or concrete, we recommend K16–K24; for intermediate grinding, K36–K60; and for surface preparation prior to sealing, K80–K100.

How long is the delivery time?

We ship from our warehouse in Taufkirchen near Munich within 24 hours via DHL or Hermes. Delivery within Germany takes 1–3 business days.
