With polishing pads, each color corresponds to a specific application. By choosing the right color, you can work more efficiently while protecting the floor:

⚪ White Pad — Polishing & Waxing

The finest pad in our product range. Ideal for polishing, refinishing, and achieving a high-gloss finish on painted floors, hardwood floors, and smooth surfaces. Also excellent for applying and polishing wax.

🟡 Beige Pad — Care & Routine Cleaning

The gentle solution for regular maintenance. Removes light soiling without damaging the floor. Perfect for daily or weekly cleaning in offices, hotels, and retail spaces.

🟢 Green Pad — Deep Cleaning

A medium-strength solution for deep cleaning and tougher stains. Removes dried-on stains and layers of dirt without damaging the floor. The standard choice for weekly or monthly deep cleaning.

🔴 Red Pad — Deep Clean

The more aggressive pad for deep cleaning heavily soiled floors. Also suitable for gently removing old layers of polish before resealing. Use with caution on delicate surfaces—test on an inconspicuous area first.

The strongest pad in our product range. Specifically designed for removing old wax layers, thick care films, and stubborn dirt. Ideal for use before resealing floors. Use only on durable hard floors—not suitable for hardwood floors or delicate surfaces!

🔘 Fused-bonded aluminum oxide sanding pads — Sanding

Features an alumina coating for intermediate sanding between coats of varnish during parquet renovations. Also suitable for wood floors when the finish needs to be renewed. Available in grits K100 to K320.

🟫 Silicon Carbide Sanding Mesh — Drywall Professionals

What does the color of a polishing pad mean?

The color indicates the pad's aggressiveness: white is the softest (polishing), and black is the harshest (stripping/de-waxing). Between these two extremes are beige, green, and red, which increase in hardness and cleaning power. This ensures you always choose the right pad for your flooring and the level of soiling.

Which pad is right for my hardwood floor?

For varnished hardwood floors: white pad (polishing) or beige pad (maintenance). For renewing the protective film: green pad. Never use red or black pads on hardwood floors—these pads are too abrasive and can damage the finish.

How often should pads be changed?

A pad can usually be reused several times. After use, rinse it with lukewarm water and let it dry. You should replace it at the latest when the surface becomes severely matted or torn—otherwise, the results will suffer.

Can I mix and match different colors?

Yes, in many cleaning projects, multiple pads are used in succession. For example, during a deep clean: first clean with the green/red pad, then polish to a high gloss with the white pad. This combination saves time and delivers premium results.

Do the pads also fit 17-inch or 20-inch machines?
